DREAMING OF RARE MOMENTS, DRY TONES, AND AIR TRAPPED ETERNALLY BETWEEN PIECES OF METAL

Screendance meditation on Aneta’s relationship and memories of the landscape and the environment of her hometown of Plzeň. Exploration of industrial complexes surrounded by the natural environment so closely that they are becoming one ecosystem. This phenomenon is a distinctive characteristic of Plzeň with an inevitable influence on its inhabitants, and their perspective on life and existence. Situated in a problematic part of the city in Jateční street area where the infamous, now empty, boarding house, and the Pilsner heating plant are located. Influenced by its soundscape, people, and lyrics of the composition ‘Teplárenský okruh’ by Pilsner conceptual black metal band Umbrtka.
