New solo work in progress

Starting with a commission for a solo performed at the Culture Night in Limerick, I decided to continue the exploration of the material during my Residency in Dance Ireland in October 2023. I am looking to work further on this solo during my Síolta Residency in Galway Dance in April 2024.

The starting point for the piece's development was the aim of creating a cinematic atmosphere with hints of sci-fi, the physicality of liquid gold, uncanny valley, and absurd humour. Striving to explore the expressive potential of the intersection between percussive and contemporary dance, the research branched out into a creation of two characters with opposing personality traits that inhabit one body.
